All items are charged by the Rental Period (4 Hour, 1 day, 1 Week, etc.) as shown on your contract. Customers are charged for the rental Item while in your possession, whether it is used or not. We charge for time in possession, not time used …so please bring back equipment promptly! There will be no extensions for weather delays, so plan accordingly!
Renter will be required to provide a valid Driver’s License and either a Credit or Debit card in the amount of 2 times the rental amount at time of reservation or rental. Truck Rentals will require a valid Driver’s License, driver over the age of 21, proof of automobile insurance (cab card that matches driver) and a $200 credit or debit card deposit, based on a 1 day rental period. If the rental goes past the specified rental period, the card will be charged accordingly. Cash may be used as deposit in some situations. Please ask your Rental Representative for details.
Renter assumes responsibility for equipment rented from time received until the time of return. Rental equipment is to be returned clean and free from damage or excessive wear. We charge full replacement cost for missing rental items or accessories, and charge for repair of any damaged items, unless optional damage waiver is purchased (see Optional Damage Waiver below). All necessary permits, licenses, public & private utility marking is the renter’s responsibility; Broadway Rental Equipment Company accepts no responsibility.
All rented equipment can be reserved ahead of with payment on a debit or credit card at the time of reservation. All reservations will be charged a $10 cancellation fee once the reservation is taken. You can change the date of pickup, if equipment is available for the new date, without incurring the cancellation fee if you call before the scheduled pickup time.
These services are available Monday – Friday 7 am to 3 pm. Pricing available upon request. Delivery is curbside drop-off and pickup, either ground-level or dockhigh. Extra charges will occur if location has multiple doors or is up or down stairs.
Rental equipment must be returned clean (no trash in trucks or trailers, no excessive mud/dirt on tractors, concrete rinsed out of mixers & trailers, etc.) or cleaning charges will be assessed.
Customer Pickup & Drop-off
Equipment must be picked up and returned during store hours. The only exceptions would be all types of vehicles, which can be drop, in the driveway, outside of the gates after hours. Please see your Rental Representative for details.
Optional Damage Waiver
We offer an optional 10% damage waiver on most equipment (excludes vehicles) and must be accepted prior to the Rental Out Date. It covers the first $100 of any accidental damage to equipment. For damages over $100, the Customer is responsible for paying 20% of repair/replacement charges. Damage waiver does not cover vandalism, theft, tire damage or abuse. All broken or damaged pieces must be returned to Broadway Rental Equipment Company on or before return due date. In the event a piece of equipment is stolen, a report must be made with the local police department and Broadway Rental Equipment Company must be notified as soon as possible. On top of the rental charges, some pieces of equipment will have an additional wear or mileage charge, see Contract for details. On metered pieces of equipment, you are allowed the following: 8 hours per 24 day, 40 hours per 7 day week and 160 hours per 28 day month. If meter exceeds the allowed hours, additional hourly rates will apply.
Problems/Issues with Equipment
If you were to experience any issues with the equipment while in your possession, you must contact Broadway Rental Equipment Company as soon as possible. If during business hours, we will work will you to get the problems resolved, or equipment exchanged. If after hours, leave a message on our voicemail, and we will contact you as soon as we open the next business day.
